We accept vehicles from 1932 through to 1972 made by The Ford Motor Co. including cars and commercial vehicles bearing the names, FORD, MERCURY or LINCOLN.
Between 1932-1954 the club will accept any factory production flathead V8 engine or optional 4, 6 or V12 flathead engines (this includes OHV for imported models).
After 1954, the club will accept any FORD, EDSEL, MERCURY OR LINCOLN vehicles with a V8 engine, including those which were optioned as a 6 or 8cyl configuration at the time of production.
Any Ford Motor Co. vehicles (belonging to the years 1932-1972) that were originally optioned as a 6 or 8cyl configuration but are now fitted with an alternative Ford Motor Co. 6,8, or 12cyl engine, may still be considered for membership. However, all applicants will be subject to approval at the time of application.
Touring Class Vehicles
A combination of factors has led the club to embracing, what it describes as ‘Touring Class Vehicles’. These are vehicles that have been altered from their original state for the following reasons: (Which we consider when accepting your application)
We consider the following:
A desire to improve vehicle safety and comfort, as well as;
The ability to travel more safely in modern traffic
The availability of some parts.
The availability of more effective options than originally fitted, etc.
